A very warm welcome to The Brecks Indoor Bowling Club. We are a members bowls club based in Thetford at the Brecks Leisure Centre in Croxton Road. We can be easily reached by road or public transport. We have four bowling rinks and ample car parking is also available. But we are more than just a bowls club. We are an important part of the Community where our members can meet up and enjoy life in general.

Bowls is for everyone! We can accept players from a very young age to those that are well into retirement. We also have members who love a casual game of bowls with friends and members who are keen to play other clubs in friendly and county games. We also have the facilities for disabled bowlers.

Not played bowls before? We always give a warm welcome to new bowlers so why not come along and have a game? You are welcome to just turn up every Wednesday morning after contacting one of our excellent club coaches. We will provide the equipment and the basic coaching you will need to get you started. Your first 3 one-hourly sessions are free of charge. If you join and want to progress we have qualified coaches to help you.

Health Warning! Please be aware that bowls can be addictive and if you are not prepared to have hours of good fun, mix with good company make new friends and at the same time keep fit and active then bowls is not for you!

For the competitive sportsman or women. Are you getting to the stage where competitive physical sports are beginning to become difficult but you still want to be involved in competitive sport? Again bowls is for you as there are Club, County and National Competitions you can enter and believe me, bowls can be a very competitive sport!

We have a full and comprehensive internal league competition throughout both the winter and summer months, as well as casual play and rollups, so come along and join us, you’ll have fun.
