Sad News of Ian Grant

                                 Ian died at the beginning of February.

He was a staunch and loyal member of Brecks IBC for many years and all who played on the rinks with him, delighted in his company and bowling prowess. Ian has been described as a true gentleman who had a wicked sense of humour. Not everyone was able to tune into his style of fun and mischievousness but those who did, benefitted from his wonderful wit and exuberance.

Ian became ill in recent years and was unable to continue playing bowls which he so enjoyed. Long standing members of Brecks IBC who played alongside Ian will be deeply saddened by his loss. 

The club extends its sympathy and sends sincere condolences to Ian’s wife Joy and his family.
